The Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Hon’ble Mr. Justice Syed Rafat Alam inaugurated the newly built Computer Centre of District Court Allahabad under CCC project of NIC and launched the website of District Court http://districtcourtallahabad.up.nic.in in the presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sunil Ambawani Administrative Judge, Allahabad, High Court Allahabad & Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dilip Gupta, Member Computerization Committee, High Court Allahabad.
 

Allahabad has been chosen as the Pilot district for full computerization of District Court under CITY CIVIL COURT Project of NIC in Uttar Pradesh. CMIS software developed by COURTIS group, NIC HQrs., a browser based software using Oracle 10G at the backend is being used. NIC-Linux has been installed on all the 148 client machines.
 

The website contains information about the District Court Allahabad since its inception. The cause lists of all the Courts are available in the website. Judgments of the courts are also available. The website also contains the profile and biodata of all judicial Officers of the Court, the names of all the District Judges since inception. Different reports and public utility forms are also available on the website. The causelists and judgments are also available on http://lobis.nic.in besides the district court website.
 

The website has been designed by High Court Unit of National Informatics Centre. The Acting Chief Justice was briefed about the computerisation activities at Allahabad District court by Sri S.B.Singh, SIO & Sr. Technical Director, UP State Unit and the website was demonstrated by Mr. P.K.Saxena, Technical Director, NIC High Court Unit. Among those who were present in the occasion were the Registrar General of the High Court Sri Swatantra Singh, District Judge Sri Sabhapati Singh, All the Judicial Officers Mr. R H Khan, TD, Coordinator Court group, UP and officers of National Informatics Centre (NIC).
