About Us
District Court Allahabad was established in 1803 near Yamuna
Christian College, Allahabad.
The present Court complex was established in 1870, two years after
the establishment of Allahabad High Court in 1868.
Criminal Justice
The Session
court has the power to exercise the sessions trail committed by the
criminal courts. In addition to the session courts there are ten
additional session courts , seven fast track courts. |

There are two
special courts namely Special court (SC/ST Act) and Special Court (E.C.
Act). |

There are the
courts of a Chief Judicial Magistrate, Special Chief Judicial
Magistrate, five Additional Chief Judicial Magistrates and two
Judicial Magistrates to deal in criminal cases.
Civil Justice
The district
judges's court is formed appellate court of civil cases. there are
ten additional District Judges's courts in addition.
Civil
judges(S.D.)'s and Civil Judges(J.D.)'s courts are parental courts
of civil cases depending on the valuation of cases.
